Name	Type	Default	Description
children	node	-	Label text. Falls back to the locale text `composerInputAriaLabel` when omitted, so the default is consistent with the textarea's `aria-label`.
classes	object	-	Override or extend the styles applied to the component. See CSS classes API below for more details.
htmlFor	string	-	The `id` of the textarea this label is associated with. Passed directly to the native `htmlFor` attribute. When provided, the label is semantically linked to the textarea so that clicking the label focuses the input and screen readers announce it on focus.
slotProps	object	{}	The props used for each component slot.
slots	object	{}	Overridable component slots. See Slots API below for more details.
sx	Array<func \| object \| bool> \| func \| object	-	The system prop that allows defining system overrides as well as additional CSS styles. See the `sx` page for more details.

The component cannot hold a ref.

label	.MuiChatComposerLabel-label		The component that renders the label.

These class names are useful for styling with CSS. They are applied to the component's slots when specific states are triggered.

.MuiChatComposerLabel-attachButton	attachButton	Styles applied to the attach button element.
.MuiChatComposerLabel-attachmentList	attachmentList	Styles applied to the attachment list element.
.MuiChatComposerLabel-helperText	helperText	Styles applied to the helper text element.
.MuiChatComposerLabel-root	root	Styles applied to the input root element.
.MuiChatComposerLabel-sendButton	sendButton	Styles applied to the send button element.
.MuiChatComposerLabel-textArea	textArea	Styles applied to the textarea element.
.MuiChatComposerLabel-toolbar	toolbar	Styles applied to the toolbar element.
.MuiChatComposerLabel-variantCompact	variantCompact	Styles applied to the root element when variant="compact".

You can override the style of the component using one of these customization options:

With a global class name.
With a rule name as part of the component's styleOverrides property in a custom theme.
